Meeting Conducted Between N4CB Project Participants and Representatives of the Polish Head Office of Geodesy and Cartography
February 22, 2024On February 21, 2024, a meeting took place at the Main Office of Geodesy and Cartography (GUGiK) between participants of the Natolin4Capacity Building project, who represent the State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography, and Cadastre, and representatives of the Main Office of Geodesy and Cartography in Poland.
During the meeting at GUGiK, topics related to the Office’s experience in implementing the INSPIRE Directive were presented. Basic information about the tasks of the Chief Geodesist of the Country and the organizational structure of GUGiK was also provided. The practical demonstration included showcasing the www.geoportal.gov.pl service and best practices in the development of Spatial Information Infrastructure in Poland. Additionally, numerous detailed questions were answered regarding open data, analytical capabilities within the National Geoportal, tasks related to land and building registration, and projects within the scope of spatial information infrastructure co-financed by the EU – including twinning.
