The EU-funded Natolin4Capacity Building Phase II (N4CB-II) project has completed the 7th edition of the Tailored Onsite Knowledge and Analytical Skills Programme on European Integration at the College of Europe in Natolin, Warsaw.
The training took place from 21 April to 29 May 2026 and focused on EU accession negotiation Cluster 2 – “Internal Market”. The programme covered policy areas related to the free movement of goods, services, capital and persons, as well as competition and consumer protection.
Eight representatives of Ukrainian central public institutions took part in the six-week programme. Over the course of the training, participants completed more than 100 hours of classes, took part in individual and group meetings, joined a study trip, and prepared analytical papers on topics related to Ukraine’s EU integration process. All participants presented their final papers.
Participants noted the relevance of the programme for their professional work.
“This training filled important gaps in my understanding of how EU institutions work together and how decisions are actually made,” said Liubov Maidanyk, Deputy Director, Ukrainian National Office for Intellectual Property and Innovation (UANIPIO).
“The programme gave me a clearer picture of the EU integration process and showed how important cooperation across different sectors is,” noted Oksana Rumovska, State Expert, Expert Group on Management and Public-Private Partnership, Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
With the completion of the 7th edition, 57 participants have graduated from the programme in the current phase of the project. The graduates are part of the Natolin4Capacity Building alumni community and continue their work in Ukrainian public administration institutions involved in the EU integration process.
